Divotees

Kindred Spirits on the Fairway

The Divotees are a men’s Quaker golfing society founded in 1921. In the years following the First World War, the Ozone’s ranks had grown beyond capacity. To preserve the spirit of fellowship while making room for the next generation, the Divotees were established, welcoming the sons, cousins, and close friends of Ozone members into a society of their own. Steeped in tradition and camaraderie, the Divotees continue to uphold the values and sporting spirit from which they were born.

Ozone Divotee Annual Match

Each year, the Ozone and the Divotees come together for a much-anticipated fixture: the Ozone/Divotee Match. A spirited contest between generations and a celebration of shared heritage, the match is played with both pride and good humor. At stake is the Leeds Webster Plate, a trophy rich in tradition and fiercely contested.
